Re: TOD/TOC indication

Bernd, I flew your scenario - EDDL to EDDF and also the leg back to EDDL. And I have mixed results. First leg into EDDF the TOD arrow worked like a charm. The initially calculated TOD point was at DF408. After deleting all WP between KERAX and DF426 the TOD arrow moved to ~20nm before KERAX. However...

Re: TOD/TOC indication

Hi Bernd, The moving TOD arrow was working for me. I have tested this on 2-3 flights now. After having entered a lower target altitude for one of the descent waypoints the TOD arrow was coming closer. I've made moderate changes on the altitude (i.e. from 5500 to 5000 feet). Not sure, if there is a d...

Re: Red/green effects on outside objects

Hi Bernd, I experience the less stutters, the lower the light intensity. Taking the light files from balu69 as basis, I even lowered intensity of Landing lights to 10 at night / 6 at day. So I still have some light effects during morning or early evening hours. FPS during day is ok. At nights still ...

Re: Deactivate new Ext Lights

Thanks.

And with that I can leave the addon.xml as is and don't have to delete the Ext lights component, I assume?

Thanks for confirmation.

Re: Red/green effects on outside objects

those are the nav lights reflecting on the building, I need to work a bit on the light effects to avoid those. ah ok, indeed a bit too strong light effect 😉 I will try to adjust the light effect according to the post from Mike. Or deactivate the new ext lights. I remember, i had to create a file li...

Ext Power Panel for give-away

I am happy to give away for free my "freestyle" Ext Power panel. I have designed it to be able to start/end Ext Pwr via a button instead of going into the sim menu. It also has pushbuttons for other functions, like ATC, or Jetway moving, doors. As you know, doors still don't work within Je...

Red/green effects on outside objects

Hi Jean Luc, all, I am experiencing some strange colour effects since updating to B57. Objects to the left are getting a red tone, while objects to the right are getting a green tone. Center view is ok. You would think, that this has something to do with the graphics card or P3D, but the funny thing...

Deactivate new Ext Lights

Hi guys, I remember, we can deactivate the new Ext Lights by removing the dll entry in the add-on.xml and adding a certain file somewhere in the FMGS folders. What was that file again and where exactly? Can I actually leave this file there, even if I want to use the new Ext Lights feature? Backgroun...

Re: No Liftoff!

I would ensure the aircraft is in the correct state first (e.g. parking brakes set) and save to default, prior to starting Jeehell FMGS. It looks like this was indeed the missing point! I have defined a default flight with Jeehell engines off. Now the last 2 flights I could lift off. I hope, it sta...

Re: No Liftoff!

When starting the P3D and JeeHell A320, the speed brakes are active. I have to activate them first and then deactivate them again only then are they retracted. Is this maybe the solution? I too experience this sometimes and then do the same. So this is not the issue. I would ensure the aircraft is ...

No Liftoff!

Since version B57 during takeoff the nose is going up but the plane does not lift off, causing tailstrike. Going back to version B55, which I used before the update to B57, all works fine. What I noticed: during the Flight Control check on the corresponding ECAM page I see all but the outer elevator...

Re: Localiser alignment and general database issues (solution)

I have updated to B57.1.3, just installed over the existing version. This has solved the Navdata issue.

Not sure, what happened here. However I am now running again into my previous issue of no liftoff, which I have since trying B57.
I will open a new thread for this.

Thanks

Re: Localiser alignment and general database issues (solution)

If you can share with me only your navdrecord from aerosoft? Is it only on add on airports? I use Navigraph data on Navdata 1 as my main database and an old Aerosoft AIRAC on Navata 2 as a backup. But the Aerosoft link from the scenery.cfg is not used. The folder doesn't exist. For every new AIRAC ...

Re: Localiser alignment and general database issues (solution)

I am still having an issue. Since reinstalling FMGS on my main P3D PC, I am missing a number of SIDs and STARs. For example., for EDDL 5R there are no SIDs shown at all. All paths in FSscenery are set correctly. If I regenerate the .bin files, it goes pretty fast (much faster than usual). According ...

Navdata incomplete

Hi all,

After a reinstall of FMGS I recompiled the Navdata / .bin files and shared across all machines.
But I am missing a number of SIDs and STARs.

I have had a similar issue some years ago but can't remember how I fixed that.
Hope someone can help.

Thanks,

Re: Site Failure

What I noticed: When I use the forum on my iPad, I have to Login several times (i.e. 1. login to enter forum, 2. login after pressing submit) and then still can not submit entries and entries get lost. I experienced the same some days ago before the crash. I thought, this might be useful information.

Hi Jean Luc,

No worries - shit happens!
We'll repopulate the needed content. What's missing, was not needed anymore.

While this is a good clean up opportunity, don't make this a feature :)
