Crash sound does not appear anymore! Also the L/G message at start up disappeared.
So this seems to be solved with the new version.

Remaining problem is, that I still don't hear the L/G retracting or engaging and no change in the wind noise, as before.

OK, I just thought I share.

Usually I am the one having issues, that nobody else has got. Concerning this one I don't have any issues. Let me know, if I can help with comparison of software settings or whatever.

I have updated to P3Dv5.4 and in this context I also deleted the p3d.cfg and had P3D creating a new one. I guess this was the culprit.
Now the engine sound is running up smoothly!

Instead of the FCU AP you need to select the AP Disengage button for the CPT or FO sidestick.
