Hi all,
since some months I am experiencing an abrupt nose down of the plane, when I pull the ALT knob for a selected lower ALT.
Before the movement was much softer.
This happens with different weights & balances. I can't say since when exactly. I just know, this wasn't the case before and I haven't made any changes to my flight model.
Decending in managed mode works fine.
Is this only me or do you experience similar?

Re: Abrupt nose down on selected ALT
I have the same issue, only when pulling the ALT Knob (OP DES)
Managed mode DES or V/S still smoothly pitch down.

Re: Abrupt nose down on selected ALT
Same issue here, tested with B59.1 and B61 in Prepar3D V6.
Sometimes (not always) Open Descent is far too aggressive with 10° pitch down, sink rates of up to 8000 ft/min, and increasing speed.
I have taken a video of it:

My Workaround is to disconnect the Autopilot, pull ALT and wait for about 20 seconds until the FD normalises. Then engage the AP again.
Any ideas?
